Her twelve solo albums have met with resounding critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic and she regularly broadcasts on radio and television as well as playing to live audiences around the world. Cass Meurig is one of Wales's foremost fiddle and crwth players. She grew up playing the fiddle by ear with her family alongside her violin lessons, and by the time she left college had developed a particular love for Welsh folk music. In 1999 she joined Caernarfon based band Pigyn Clust and appears on their latest album 'Perllan'. She is now also a member of widely acclaimed Welsh band Fernhill.
