Talyllyn Railwayhttp://www.talyllyn.co.uk The Talyllyn Railway is a narrow gauge line using steam locomotives on all advertised passenger trains. It was opened in 1865 and runs inland from Tywyn on the Mid Wales Coast to Nant Gwernol. Llangelynin Church and Holy Well.http://www.walesdirectory.co.uk/llangel/llangelynin.htm The site of the old church is high above the Conwy valley, in the shelter of Tal y Fan. Several footpaths converge here. For many years these would have been the main routes between the Conwy valley and the settlements over the hills in Penmaenmawr and west toward Caernarfon and Anglesey.
