St Michael\'s Church

Built in the 14th century, St Michael\'s Church is the oldest building in Betws-y-Coed, and is located on the banks of the River Conwy. Replaced by the parish church of St Mary\'s in 1873, St Michael\'s lay slumbering peacefully throughout the twentieth century. But by the early 1990\'s it was in a sorry state, with a leaking roof and associated plaster damage and it was urgently in need of repair work.

Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust

In 1997 ASFOG (A Society For the Friends of Gwrych) was founded by Mark Baker and in 2001 it changed its name to Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust and became a registered charity. The Trust had been founded to raise awareness of Gwrych’s plight and also to establish a solution for the conservation and preservation of the castle.

H.A.C.K. Horse Sanctuary

The aim of H.A.C.K is to provide a haven for distressed, neglected and cruelly treated horses ponies and donkeys. Their future will be secure in the knowledge that each one will be brought back into good health and returned to a normal working life where possible and placed with vetted and caring homes. Those who are unsuitable for rehoming will stay at the sanctuary. We need your continued support.
