An all Wales charity providing a vital service through two air ambulances for those who face life threatening illness or injuries. The helicopters which are based at Caernarfon and Swansea are totally voluntary funded. Saving time means saving lives and this service is vital to Wales with its widely scattered population, many in remote commmunities.

As a rescue team we have between 30-50 callouts per year. We have some 50 people on the team, with about 20 being very active and responding to most of the calls. Several of the team are qualified as Paramedics or Advance First Aiders we also have several qualified Search Managers.
